How can I protect my winter clothes from moths and mold during the summer
There r a couple things u can do, one is to place a few ceder wood chips in with the clothing items & place them in large plastic bags, then place the bags in large plastic tight sealing type containers. Rubber Maid has some new ones out that u can vacuum most of the air out & can be found at places like Target & Walmart. Space Bags is another brand that does the same type of air sealing. You can also get scented potpourri at a craft store for an inexpensive ''freshener'' to put in with the clothes.
Good Luck!
ONE WORD CEDAR. THEY COME IN CHIP FORM AND SOLID TO CHECK LOCAL STORES WHERE MOTHBALLS ARE LOCATED ALSO A CEDAR CHEST IS THE BEST TO STORE ANY TYPE OF MATERIAL OF FABRIC.TIGGER53
Get those space bags. Seriously. I tried everything from putting clothes in cedar closets, in the attic, in the basement, trash bags, even luggage. Those stupid bags are the only things that really worked for me. Best part is, they are cheap, you can really pack a lot of stuff in them, and, like they say in the commericals, they save a lot of space.
Move to a dryer climate -
Western Australaia is going through a boom time and is looking for all kinds of workers at the moment
get some of those plastic bags that you can vacuum the air out of.
