They sound like grain moths, check your pantry for worms (larvae) check flour, cookies, cereal, pasta and tea.

Saaanen makes a good point. Check boxes of crackers and cereal boxes also. Sometimes you see the little husks where the moths hatched.

To keep moths out of your dressers you can use moth balls (which stink). My grandmother used those when I was little. Cedar chests discourage moths, or just blocks of cedar wood. Failing that, you can also line the drawer bottoms with newspaper.

Are they cupboard moths? Check your flour, cereal, spices, pet food. If you see small white worms or fine webs, you've got 'em.

MOTHS how do you get rid of them

I found 2 products that I have been using in my home,
one is called Moth Away, its herbal sachets that look
like teabags, I found this at the Container Store &
you can put them in drawers or on shelves. The other
product is a cedar scented spray by SLA Reefer-Galler.
I found this spray at Bed Bath & Beyond. You can spray
this on clothing, bedding, drapes, carpet & fabric covered
furniture. It definitely smells like cedar, not too chemically,
and kills more than moths. I still see a couple of the moths
now & then, but nothing like before, so the products seem
to work.
